Liz Campbell wins O-Ringen again with a superb victory in the D50 class at
Swedish 5 days in Gothenburg.
Liz increased her overall lead to win the week by 2mins 26 after wins on
day,2,4, and the final stage.
D21 Super Elite Helen Winskill finished in 17th overall showing she is
running well in Sweden in preparation for WOC, with her best run of the
week for 12th position.
H21E Ewan McCarthy maintained his impressive consistency to climb upto 18th
overall from 22nd after 4 stages.
The JWOC team continued their great form with some impressive results in
the junior Elite classes:
D18E
Cerys Manning finished as she started the day in 7th position, a very fine
effort in a competitive field of 110 runners.
D20E Junior Worlds Bronze medallist Alison O'neil finishes in very
creditable11th overall with her best performance of the week less than 3
mins behind the stage winner.
Unfortunately Mhairi Mackenzie had to retire injured after finishing day 4,
but had an outstanding week to hold 3rd position in D20E after 4 days.
