Rhys Findlay-Robinson took full advantage of the absence of Scott Fraser and Oleg Chepelin through injury to take the M20 series title, though 2 good runs from Matt Dickinson almost stole it from Rhys. Colin Olivant just took 3rd place from James Tullie, who found his form again in the final after some disappointing races in the qualifiers.

Duncan Coombs confirmed his series win in resounding style, beating all M20’s on both days to repeat a feat not accomplished since Ed Nash in 1997. David Schorah retained his 2nd place with a great run in the short race. Doug Tullie just kept ahead of Joe Mercer who had 2 good runs, whilst Ben Stevens also remained in 5th place, redeeming his poor short race with a great run in the classic distance.

Cerys was only denied maximum points by a return to form by Alison O’Neil, who did enough to secure 2nd place in the series. Helen Gardner went into the final 2 points behind Lizzie Adams but managed to beat Lizzie by 1 place and 3 points on the classic race to overtake Lizzie in the series by 1 point, with the pair having finished joint 3rd the day before. Liz Bridge managed to gain a place having gone into the final in =6th place with Hazel, overtaking 5th placed Kirsten as well. Unfortunately there was a rather small turnout from W20’s in the final, with only 8 of the 15 qualifiers racing at the weekend.

Rose just managed to hold onto the series by 1 point after some disappointing results in the final. Jessica Halliday had a great weekend, but didn’t quite have enough points from the qualifiers to get 1st place. Jo Thompson kept onto 3rd place, whilst an unfortunate injury for Tessa Hill meant that she dropped from 4th to 14th place after being unable to run in the final. There were some good runs in the final from Becca Roberts, Ruth Holmes and Stefanie Blomquist, but only Stef moved up a place in the series.
