club :: peter palmer relays
Andrew Llewellyn of Nottingham OC was the toast of the town today after he heroically anchored NOC to Peter Palmer victory.
Llewelly went our 10 minutes down on Harlequins and with Deeside breathing down his neck. However strong running saw him maintain the lead over DEE, and pass HOC comfortably. DEE cruised into second place and took the handicapped title: possibly the closest a handicap team has been to winning ever?
Congratulations to NOC and DEE as well as everyone else who took part, and also to BAOC for organising the event at short notice.
Unfortunately its hard to work out from the results what actually happened through the race: if anyone who was actually there feels like producing a more thourough report then feel free!
