fcc :: Baluain & Banvie
The 2nd fcc race of 2007 took place in a fairly gloomy, wet Baluin near Pitlochry today and it was scot Duncan Coombs who took the victory in what was a strong top group in JM5L. A very consistent run apart from a wobble on control 13 allowed him a 2min victory margin over Hector Haines, one of many who travelled up for the race. EUOC made it two in the top three with Doug Tullie in 3rd, all three coming off the back of some strong runs in their recent trip to portugal. in the womens race it was a similar story with Hollie Orr running a similar kind of dominant race to take the JW5L. Even without her 2min mistake on control 2, MAROC's Hazel Wright could not have caught Hollie so had to settle for 2nd. EUOC took another podium place with Jess Halliday in 3rd.
