Spring Cup Update 2
The device
Spring Cup has just announced a new feature to be implemented in the Men's Open Relay. The first 10 last leg runners to go into the forest will be fitted with a tracking device. These devices allow the runners' positions in the race to be monitored in real time. This will appear on a big screen in the assembly area for spectators, as well as live on the internet, for armchair spectators all over the world. The technology has been developed over the last five years by trac trac.
