WOC 2010 Middle Final
Yesterday saw the Middle Distance Final of the 2010 World Orienteering Championships.
The women's race was very close with Minna Kauppi taking victory from Simone Niggli. Simone made a directional error on the last loop after the arena. Marriane Andersen took third. Her third medal of the week so far.

The men's race was taken by the young Norwegian Carl Waaler Kaas. He was 1 second ahead of Peter Öberg before the last loop which made for a very exciting exciting race. Öberg took second with a top run with fresh legs.

Graham Gristwood ran a very good race with a time close to the leaders. Matt Speake and Minna Kauppi produced the most entertaining interviews of the day.
