Tracking a maybe for World Cup
Bulletin 3 for the World Cup races to be held in Guildford in early May is out now. The bulletin was released yesterday and contains the latest information on the event.
Included in it was the first mention of a tracking system possibly being used for the leaders on some of the days. The tractrac system, which involves the elites to carry a device the same weight as a mobile phone allowing real-time tracking of their movements, is also being used at this years Spring Cup.
A quote from the bulletin says that 'Details have not been finalised yet but it is possible that we may use the TracTrac tracking system for the leading runners'
