ISF Worlds: Tomorrow Middle Distance
Anika Gassner, winner on Monday
The competition will be carried out at Piereni in the south-western section of the race map used for the long distance event and will be run on quite technical terrain and rich of features such as steep hills and wide fields.
The whole race course will be set up in a coniferous forest with good visibility in general but with some more less clear sections and with a demanding steep rise towards the finish. In the Middle Distance the start will be individual with stopwatch and athletes from each category (eight categories in all) will race with a two minute interval. The first competitor will start at 10 am.
