wc :: World Cup Startlists
The Sprint qualification and relay startlists are up and make for interesting reading.
In the womens qualification there are some good early running such as Emma Dahlstedt, Helen bridle, Martina Fritschy & Vroni König Salmi which should give a good indication of qualifying times. Remember its the top 9 that qualify from each of the 3 groups.
The mens kick off at 17.56 with finlands Tero Föhr. GB's Debutant, and Team Nopesport member, Mark Nixon is off just 2 minutes later. Starting last is Graham Gristwood looking like he takes Jamies seeding spot.
The relay startlist is also available. Oli Johnson comes into the british A team. France have a strong team with François Gonon, Damien Renard & Thierry Gueorgiou; as does Sweden, Finland and Switzerland. Bodes well for an exciting race.
Finland have not declared who's running in what team in the womens. Is this tactical? Norway look strong as do the usual sweden & Switzerland. Helen Winskill, Sarah Rollins & Heather Monro make up the british A team hope.
For those of us who are stuck at home there will hopefully be a live webcast of some of this evenings qualification, brought to you by BBC TV London. More info here - source WC site
