The Nordic Championships continued today with the middle distance race and it was another gold for Norways Anders Nordberg taking the victory by over a minute from fellow countrymen Holger Hott Johansen. Finlands Jörgen Wickholm completed the top 3. GB's Jon Duncan finishe just below mid-table in 28th place. The best placed irish result was again Marcus Pinker in 38th place.
In the womens 21 Simone Niggli-Lüder was again forced to settle for 2nd, this time by finlands Minna Kauppi. Emma Engstrand headed a group of 3 swedies by finishing in 3rd.
In the 20s Helena Jansson added to her sprint gold with the middle gold as well. Saila Kinni of Finland finished in 2nd just 7 seconds down. Norways Betty Nilsen took 3rd. in the mens 20s there was a norway one two as Øystein Sørensen won from Magne Dæhli. Lauri Oikarinen completed the top 3. Another solid run from Scott Fraser brought him 12th place just 2.36mins off the lead.
