Cockiness, or confidence? Last week 21-year-old Martin Johansson publically declared in the alternativet.nu forums that he was going to win the Swedish Sprint Championships and yesterday he made good on his claim with a fine victory, four seconds ahead of David Andersson and 15 infront of Jonas Pilblad.
Simone Niggli-Luder won the ladies race ahead of her club mate Jenny Johansson and Emma Engstrand of Stora Tuna. Marcus Millagaard and Elin Skantze won the 20 classes while two W16s were first and second in W18.
The SM continues with the Ultra-Long Distance tomorrow.
