woc :: WOC Starts Tomorrow!!!
The 22nd World Orienteering Championships begins at midnight tonight (GMT) in Aichi, Japan, with the middle distance qualifications.
The WOC 2005 Online website has just gone up, and tomorrow's start lists are now available.
N.B. Japan is +9hrs from GMT.
Running for Great Britain in the middle distance are: Ewan McCarthy,
Oli Johnson, Graham Gristwood, Mhairi Mackenzie, Helen Bridle and Helen Winksill.
The British team have already been in Japan for over a week acclimatising to the humid conditions and honing their technique for what may well be the toughest WOC yet.
Other people to look out for at the top of the leader board in the final.
