Swedish Team Nominated
Swedens gold medal winning mens relay team of Niclas Jonasson, Mattias Karlsson and Emil Wingstedt have been nominated for the Jerringpriset, the most prestigious sporting award in Sweden. The swedes won the relay for the first time since the 80s by saving Karlsson who was aiming for the classic distance title.
Also in nominations news Jamie Stevenson has been nominated for the BBC Scotland Sports Personality of the Year.
