woc :: nopesport goes to woc
The big one is nearly upon us! The world orienteering championships, based in Aarhus, Denmark starts with the middle qualification in Hjortsballe Krat on Saturday. All the teams have been arriving today, getting accredited and checking out the start and finish setup at the technical model event. All the big names are here and there are plenty of opportunities to follow the event unfold. This year the organising team have put a lot of effort into making this the most spectator-friendly event so far. tractrac, cameras in the forest and live results are being used at various stages of the championships, with all of them being using together for the finals.
