M20E Swedens Erik Söhjelm takes his second gold 1 minute ahead of Norways Eirik Watterdal who was disqualified in the sprint final. Bronze goes to another Swede, Joel Sjöder. A mention is deserved by 14th place Nicola Giovanelli of italy, the only non- scandy in the class.

In W20E it was a Swedish podium with Monica Lund taking her second gold, comfortably ahead of Lina Lindberg (2:45) and Johanna Lindberg (5:45)

Sweden continued their winning run in the Senior Mens course with Bengt Leandersson taking the glory only 7 seconds ahead of Norwegian WOC Gold medalist Tommy Olsen and 48 seconds clear of Arto Lilja of Finland.
Top continental skier was Peter Mosimann in eigth place, from Suisse.

But it was a different story in the Ladies Elite, where Liisa Anttila of Finland took the victory, 22 seconds ahead of Norways Marte Reenaas and 29 ahead of Marie Lund. The top non scandy skiier was Ramune Arlauskiene of Lithuania in 10th place.
