Technical sand dune delights found at Balmedie

Details of the Maroc Middle Distance Race on Saturday the 2nd October are now available here. An entry list is also available here which show a strong EUOC & Vaterbatens OK showing for the races around Murray & Haughton Parks in Alford. The courses of 4.5km (long) and 3.2km (short) will offer fast racing around flat, mixed woodland and parkland with estimated winning times around 20 minutes.

Sunday sees the final Scottish O League race of the year held at Balmedie beach, north of Aberdeen. Details are available here with startlists available here.

Were there any league results available I'd expect some battles taking place for final positions but they are still to be updated here but after 6 events M21L is a tie between Patrick Walder of Clyde and Dave Godfree of Interlopers. Dave however is injured and won't be competiting so should Paddy take his third victory of the year the SOL title will be going to him. In W21L anything could happen as there appears to be no entries yet, but Gillian Godfree looks like she won't be defeated with 3 race victories already this year.
