TRAVEL
Road Works – Stirling Council Roads Department intend closing the A821 at Brig O’ Turk in the week prior to the event. If weather is favourable, they hope to complete the work before 6th March (though this seems unlikely in Feb/March!!). However, if they do, they will then switch to Aberfoyle, where they intend to close the road at the David Marshall Lodge. The net result is that ONE of the two approach roads to the event may be closed, but we will not know which, until the last minute! To add to the confusion, because the event will be held on a Sunday it may be that neither route is closed!!
Please check the FVO website (www.fvo.org.uk) for the latest information before travelling. For those without access to the internet, call either of the following numbers for a pre-recorded message. (01259) 213310 or (01786) 469824
