event :: jok sprint rearranged
The pigs will fly again!
JOK is very pleased to announce that the 2006 JOK Chasing Sprint has been
rearranged for Saturday 22nd April at the same venue of Bishop Woods,
allowing people to enjoy a weekend of racing alongside the already
scheduled LOC Regional Event at Graythwaite on Sunday 23rd April.
Full details on refund policy for people unable to make the revised date
will be on the JOK website very soon. The entry system on the JOK website
will also reopen to allow others to enter for the first time. Please note
the closing date for the LOC event on the Sunday is 31st March.
The Chasing Sprint will retain its UK Cup and Future Champions Cup status,
and any further information on this will be confirmed via the JOK website.
There was already a club coaching day scheduled for Bishop Woods on
Saturday 22nd April and it is intended that this will still proceed, in
parallel with the prologue stage of the sprint. The organisers would
like to thank LOC and BOF (in particular Carol McNeil, Derek Allison and
Peter Guillaume) for allowing this and for their overall flexibility and
assistance in allowing the event to be rescheduled so soon.
We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible on the new date - we
hope you can make it!
