The withdrawal of permission to use two areas and the lack of availability of other suitable areas has caused the NEOA to withdraw from hosting the British Relay Championships 2004, scheduled for March 21st. Official notification of this was received on Monday 1st December 2003. In the meantime, the available alternatives have been reviewed and attempts are being made to put a solution in place so that any ill effects on the individual championships are minimised. These attempts are ongoing and BOF are unable to be any more definite at this stage.
