Compasssport Trophy, Scottish Round.
The drama in the scottish round of the Compasssport Trophy continued long into Sunday night as the results were checked and double checked.
A poor turnout from the 'North' clubs meant that the competition was dominated by the big central belt clubs. After a days racing around Faskally Woods (famous as the prettiest picnic place on the A9) the scores were tied with both Forth Valley - last years overall winners - and Edinburgh Southern on 1225 points. On countback ESOC came out better and win the Scottish round. FVO went through in second and Interlopers - despite fielding just two juniors - qualify in third.
