London Marathon
Those april showers are amongst us so it can only mean one thing the London Marathon is nearly upon us. Two British orienteers are running for charities this year below is their messages asking for support.
I'm running the London Marathon on 17th April in aid of Cancer Research UK. So i'm asking all the kind and generous people that i know to sponsor me which will hopefully make a small difference against the battle with cancer. I've been training quite hard all winter with the sole aim of running well in london, however still not really sure how long it's going to take me to run the 26.2 miles,i guess somewhere around the 2hrs 50min mark.
If anyone would like to sponsor me i've set up a sponsorship webpage http://www.justgiving.com/london05pete which is the most secure and efficeint way for you to donate money directly to Cancer Research. However if you'd prefer to not use t'internet, but would still like to donate please send cheques made out to: Cancer Research UK to me at: 99 Roebuck Road, Sheffield, S6 3GQ.
Thanks Very Much.
