event :: England win JHI's
England are the winners of this year's Junior Home International. Scotland were second and Wales were third only four point behind the Scots. Ireland took home the wooden spoon.
Rhodri Buffet won the M18 class for Wales in front of Scotland's Duncan Coombs.John Rocke was third for England. In the M16's is was England 1-2-3 1st place going to Jack Wood, 2nd to Chris Smithard and 3rd to Hector Haines. Kristian Jones was the winner for Wales in M14.
In the girls courses England dominated precedings. Ruth Holmes won W18 and Julia Blomquist won W14. Second place at W18 went to Jess Haliday, 3rd to Jene Hoare of Wales Rose Hodkinson was 4th and Becca Roberts was fifth. There was something for Scotland to shout about with Hollie Orr winning W16. Becky Hoare of Wales was second and Anwen Darlington also of Wales was third.
In the Relays the Scottish boys gained the glory winning by 3 minutes (Calum Coombs, Alan Cherry, Duncan Coombs).England were second and Wales third.
In the girls relays it was a very close finish but England managed to get a 1,2,3,4.
