poll :: best junior female

Honorary Mention: Joy Hodkinson, Nottingham.
At the JK she was 20% quicker than her nearest rival. At BOC it was more. A mere 10 years old, the girl born on the rest day of Strathspey ’95 is clearly a hot talent. And she showed this at the Swedish O-Ringen, where she won every day and took the overall title.

Winner:
She won the JK. She won BOC. She won the FCC. She was unbeatable in Britain. She went to JWOC with high hopes and did not disappoint, where she took a 31st place in the Middle race. But where she really shone was in the relay, where in a weakened team she led the way with a finely executed final leg, to give the GB girls their first Top 10 in a long time.
