In less than one week's time, on 22nd January, the first Orienteering Today Catching Features World Series will begin. Compete for fame, glory, and prizes in the series of eight cares on four Championship maps.
Four races will be the actual Championships courses - men's Middle distance races from the WOC03, WOC04, WOC05, and EOC03 dominated by Thierry Gueorgiou, who will take part in the series himself too. The other four races will be new courses (one on each map) set by Jan Skricka (course planer of the World Cup Final 2002) and Rob Plowright (course planer of the WOC Sprint 2005).
The races of the series will be held very Sunday and the courses will be open for 36 hours. Top 20 finishers earn points, the final score will be made of the best 6 scores.
Six best players will win a special OT CF dress made by Vavrys company, producer of orienteering clothes. Six best members of Orienteering Today Club (subscribers to Orienteering Today with full one-year subscription in 2006) will have a chance to win one of the free six O-Ringen 2006 entries.
