WAOC’s UK Cup and World Ranking Event produced different winners from the previous day’s British Sprint Championships, with Neil Northrop continuing his fine run of form to take victory by just 11 seconds from Graham Gristwood. This is Neil’s 4th win in the UK Cup series, where he has finished above GB Squad athletes on a number of occasions, and keeps him at the top of the UK Cup rankings. GG moves up into 2nd place despite only having 5 scores, and is likely to overtake Neil if he performs well in either of the last 2 races, both being held in Scotland.

It was a reversal at the top of the women’s results from yesterday with Pippa Whitehouse leading Sarah Rollins by just over a minute. Pippa keeps her place at the top of the UK Cup.
