It is invisioned that from next year there will be a more pronounced Performance and Potential group, the criteria for selection to each will be fixed at some point.
Next year the squad will be aiming for top results at the Nordic Championships in Denmark, and the World Orienteering Championships in the Ukraine. They will also be competing in the new World Cup, although it may be a lower priority as a lot of uncertainty surrounds it.
The new squad see's Lizzie Adams, Scott Fraser and Oleg Chepelin make the leap from the junior squad, senior debuts from Becky Carlyle and Neil Northrop and reselection after a break for Jo Stevenson and Murray Strain.
Best of luck to the British Orienteering Team in 2007 from everyone at NopeSport.
