Along side the fcc selection race, the first Scottish O League for 2007 was run. Neither of the 21L titles were taken by scots though. Duncan Archer, coach and designated driver for some of the juniors for the weekend, took the M21L win, completing the quite physical 10km course in 62mins. Murray Strain, back to dabble in orienteering after a successful winter cross-country season, took 2nd with Dave Godfree in 3rd place.
Helen Palmer showed that she has had a very good winters training by winning the W21L class by a convincing distance. The Glasgow based runner, running under the OK Ravinen club, had a winning margin of 6mins over hazel Dean. GB MTBO squad member, Janine Inman was only 30secs behind Hazel in 3rd place.
