The 2nd sol of the year went ahead today in the sunny, albeit quite briske, Archerfield. The sand dune area is a popular venue for orienteerinf and is both technical and physical but very enjoyable.

Interlopers' very own Dave Godfree took the spoils in the M21L, leading the way ahead of the youngsters winnning in a time of 61.02mins. Murray Strain followed up his 2nd in the sprint championships the previous day, with 2nd at the sol and James Tullie took 3rd mirroring the previous day perfromance.

In the womens race, Helen Palamer managed to shake off her niggles to compete and win the W21L course and in the process stopped a Godfree double. Gillian Godfree haad to settle for 2nd 1.43mins back. FVO's Hazel Dean came 3rd
