World champion number one of the year 2004 is the one and only Simone Niggli-Luder, claiming her 6th WOC gold medal.
Silver goes to Karolina A Hojsgaard of Sweden and Bronze was taken by Elisabeth Ingvaldsen of Norway.
The British Girls, Sarah Rollins and Helen Bridle finished in 21st and 43rd places respectively.
